Uruguay marksman’s future at Anfield is very much up in the air at present.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are keen to sign controversial Liverpool front man Luis Suarez at the end of the season, says the Metro.
The Uruguay international’s future on Merseyside is currently under a cloud after the 26-year-old was banned for ten matches last week for biting the upper arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in the Premier League at Anfield.
And with it also now looking increasingly likely that the Bavarians will miss out on their number one striking target of the summer, Borussia Dortmund attacker Robert Lewandowski, the German giants will instead turn their attentions towards the in-form Liverpool attacker.
Suarez has enjoyed an exceptional campaign for the Premier League club, scoring 23 top-flight goals in just 30 appearances, while also becoming the first Liverpool player since Fernando Torres to hit 30 or more goals in a season in all competitions.
And it is that prolific form in front of goal that has convinced Bayern to make a £40 million move for Suarez when the transfer window reopens on June 1.
