‘Golden Balls’ has played in 12 games in all competitions for the Parisians since the turn of the year.
Veteran midfield player David Beckham will decide whether or not to remain with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain next season within the next fortnight, according to reports on BBC Sport Online.
The former England international captain, 38, only arrived at the Parc des Princes on a short-term six-month contract during the recent January transfer window ,having just ended a five-and-a-half-year spell in Major League Soccer with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
However, the one-time Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan star has proved to be such a success in the French capital that the big-spending Ligue 1 club are keen for Beckham to stay for one more season.
So far Beckham has featured in eight league contests for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, and 12 matches in all competitions, as they have cruised towards a first top-flight title since 1994, with the club able to wrap up the league as early as this weekend.
