Liverpool have reportedly agreed terms with Aston Villa over the transfer of Christian Benteke.
The Reds triggered the Belgian international’s £32.5m release on Thursday and Sky Sports now claim that the two clubs have settled on the structure of the payment after talks over the weekend.
Benteke is expected to have his medical by Tuesday, but he has not yet agreed personal terms to join the Reds and reportedly has a switch to rivals Manchester United at the back of his mind.

The 24-year-old has also been linked to the Red Devils and the Daily Star claimed on Sunday that he would prefer to move to Old Trafford in order to be guaranteed Champions League football.
That news will worry Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, who has made the powerful target man his transfer priority for the remainder of the summer as he looks to sharpen up his strike force.
But, with United yet to match Benteke’s release clause, the Merseysiders appear to be in pole position to land a forward who has scored 49 goals in 101 games for Villa since joining from Racing Genk in 2012.
