ADELAIDE STRIKERS
It’s fair to say the Strikers have struggled in the opening three seasons of the Big Bash and will be desperate for a big campaign.
The addition of Brad Hodge adds some much-needed experience into the squad, while Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa will be keen to show why they are rated as some of the better up and comers in the game.
Big-hitting West Indian Kieran Pollard is sure to thrill the crowds, but the Strikers batting depth is questionable.
Even with the additions of Hodge, Pollard and Craig Simmons, the Strikers could find themselves in a bit of trouble if they lose early wickets.
Inexperience could cost the South Australian side too, with a handful of players yet to play a BBL game, and others with only a few appearances to their name.
INS: Brad Hodge, Hamish Kingston, Ben Laughlin, Kieron Pollard, Alex Ross, Chadd Sayers, Craig Simmons, Ryan ten Doeschate.
OUTS: Callum Ferguson, Alex Hales, Michael Klinger, Michael Neser, Jimmy Pierson, Nathan Reardon
LAST THREE SEASONS 6th, 5th, 7th.
PREDICTION: 6th
