With the majority of the NSW side playing for the Sixers this season, expect them to be strong.
While Steve Smith, Brad Haddin and Josh Hazlewood may not be seen Sixers colours, they have the depth to be able to compete.
They squad has been further bolstered by the arrivals of Doug Bollinger and Ryan Carters, with the latter to don the gloves in Haddin’s absence.
Nic Maddinson and Moises Henriques provide significant hitting power, while Bollinger gives them another strike bowler along with veteran Brett Lee.
It’s hard to see them going on to win it, but the Sixers will certainly give it a shake.
INS: Doug Bollinger, Ryan Carters, Ed Cowan, Dwayne Smith
OUTS: Mark Cosgrove, Marcus North, Daniel Smith, Chris Tremlett, Ravi Bopara
LAST THREE SEASONS 3rd, 7th, 2nd
PREDICTION: 3rd
