3. Wilfried Bony (Swansea City)
Club goals: 51
Player’s goals: 15
Percentage of club goals scored by player: 29.4%
Wilfried Bony has had a promising debut campaign in English football for Swansea City, scoring 25 goals in all competitions, as well as 15 in the Premier League.
The Ivorian’s key attribute is his aerial ability, with no player in the English top flight having scored more headed goals than Bony’s five this term.
Bony has been particularly important this season in the continued absence of last season’s star player Michu, who has struggled with injury for much of the past few months, and Swansea were fortunate that they had bought another forward to replace the Spaniard’s goal threat – even if the pair were meant to be played together as a partnership.
