Borussia Dortmund boss will watch from stands during Arsenal clash.
Jurgen Klopp will be absent from the dugout for Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League clash with Arsenal after his one-match touchline ban was extended by UEFA.
The German coach, 46, was sent off in Dortmund’s opening round Champions League 2-0 defeat to Napoli a fortnight ago after angrily confronting the fourth official following the Italians’ opener.
His original one-match ban was served in the Germans’ 3-0 win over Marseille on Tuesday but he also looks set to watch from the stands at the Emirates Stadium on 22 October.
“This decision can be appealed. Borussia Dortmund are currently considering whether to go down that route,” a Dortmund statement said.
The Gunners currently top the group after wins over Marseille and Napoli.
