Chelsea could be boosted in their attempts to sign Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi with rumours that he wants a £29m release clause in his new contract, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 21-year-old is currently in talks over a new deal at the San Siro, but wants the option of leaving the club if other teams make bids of £29m.
Icardi’s fine form in Serie A has seen him linked strongly with Chelsea this season, while Liverpool and Manchester United have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the Argentine.
