Sterling has been in tremendous form for Liverpool since the turn of the year.
Liverpool star Raheem Sterling has given a clear indication that he is ready to sign a contract extension at the club.
Talks have been rambling on for months now and it seemed to take a desperate turn when Brendan Rodgers decided to reveal financial details of the negotiations publicly.
Many got the impression that Sterling was seeking pastures new and that stalling on a new deal was evidence of that.

However, Sterling seems ready to commit his future to Liverpool and hopes to have confirmation soon.
“It is not a distraction to me, I am concentrating on winning games for Liverpool and hopefully it will be done soon,” he said ahead of the Europa League clash against Besiktas (via Mirror Football).
“I speak to my representative every day and he has just told me to concentrate on playing football, and him and the club will deal with it.
“I am happy playing football and I am focused on trying to do my best for this football club.”
Rodgers has previously stated that the conclusion of the talks were being held-up by Sterling’s representatives. It seems as though the young forward is keen to find a quick resolution soon.
