The German says that Dortmund can win at the Emirates.
In one of the biggest matches of the Champions League this week, Arsenal host Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium hoping to maintain their 100% record in the tournament.
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp will be banned from the touchline for the match after an angry outburst with the fourth official during the side’s 2-1 defeat to Napoli in the competition.
The German side are also suffering a spate of injuries currently, but Klopp believes the team can still win in north London.
“We played twice against them in our first Champions League campaign but we are a different team from two years ago,” the 46-year-old told the Sun.
“I will be in the stands. But it’s not the biggest problem.
“Zeljko [Buvav – Klopp’s No.2] and I have worked together for 13 years. We can win.”
The Gunners have won both of their European matches so far this term, with victories over Marseille and Dortmund’s conquerors Napoli.
Arsene Wenger’s side are also in great form in the Premier League, topping the table after six wins, one draw and one loss in 2013/14.
Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are stars for the side in particularly good form and Dortmund are suffering currently with several injuries to key players.
Therefore the English side will be the favourites going into the match – particularly with home advantage – but with the visitors having reached the final of the competition last year, they will do well to realise this won’t be an easy game.
