Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are said to be closing in on a deal to sign Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom, according to the Daily Star.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and Dortmund have been alerted to his availability. However, they are looking to bring him on board now rather than waiting until the summer.
Akpom is also being watched by a series of Premier League sides including Manchester City, Everton and Tottenham, though Dortmund are thought to have already held talks with the player and are close to agreeing terms.
Klopp been heavily involved in the talks and believes Akpom can make an impact in the Bundesliga this season while the youngster is understood to have concerns about his long-term first-team prospects at Arsenal.
