Celtics snatch the win in triple overtime.
In a night of high drama at the TD Garden in Boston, the Celtics secured a thrilling 118-114 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Going for a seventh straight win, the Celtics were made to battle hard by the Nuggets who were desperate to take their own winning streak to 10 games.
However, Paul Pierce finished with his second triple-double in the last fortnight (27 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists), posting his eighth in his Boston career with the Celtics going 8-0 over those contests.
Jason Terry was vital as he had a season-high of 26 points off the bench, including the game winning three-pointer in triple overtime, while Kevin Garnett finished with 20 points and a season-high 18 rebounds.
Denver looked to have secured the win twice in overtime, only for the heroics from the likes of Pierce and Terry to deny them with big-time shots from beyond the arc.
Ty Lawson scored a game-high 29 points for the Nuggets, while Danilo Gallinari got his shooting going late on and added 18 points.
However, the win keeps the Celtics’ winning streak going as they head to Charlotte to face the Bobcats on Monday, while the Nuggets will want to put this one behind them as they prepare to take on Toronto on Tuesday night.
