Paul Smith Jr has finally secured a rematch against Arthur Abraham with the pair set to meet for a second time in Berlin on February 21.
The two super-middleweights met back in September in Kiel with the WBO champion holding on to his title after a unanimous points decision.
However, the judges scorecards caused a great deal of controversy due to how wide the fight was seen in favour of Abraham, and so the WBO launched an investigation into the bout.
Although Smith was not granted status as mandatory challenger, after negotiations between promoters Eddie Hearn and Kalle Sauerland the pair have been able to agree terms on an immediate rematch.
Smith will be fully aware that this could arguably be his final shot at a world title, and after impressing in the first fight he will hope to build on that performance and produce something special in Berlin.
However, the 31-year-old will face a German crowd again and will hope that the judges will score the fight fairly this time round, but he showed enough in September to suggest that he is capable of beating Abraham.
Meanwhile, heavyweight David Price is also set to appear on the undercard in the German capital as he continues to re-build his career and with talk of a potential clash with Anthony Joshua in 2015, he will hope to come through his next test unscathed.
