Stephen Smith went face-to-face with rival Devis Boschiero on Friday afternoon ahead of their bout in Liverpool on Saturday night.
All seemed pleasant enough as they shook hands and looked to avoid any late drama, however they then engaged in some pushing and pulling which was all that was needed for security to step in and separate them.

Smith (22-1, KO 12) weighed in right on the super-featherweight limit of 9st 4lbs, and the 30-year-old will hope that he can defeat his Italian opponent at the Olympia in their IBF eliminator.
Boschiero (37-3-1, KO 19) tipped the scales at 9st 3lb 1oz, before the pair went head-to-head for the final time before fight night.
This is undoubtedly a tough test for Smith who has been sidelined through injury and illness for a long while which has prevented him from building momentum and getting to a world title shot sooner.
However, he appears to be in confident mood ahead of Saturday night and will undoubtedly have his brothers ringside to support him along with the Sky Sports cameras for what should be an entertaining night of boxing.
With brother Liam challenging for a world title next month and Callum facing Rocky Fielding for the super-middleweight British title in November, it promises to be a busy end of the year for the Smith family.
