Amir Khan is preparing for a return to the ring, at the end of May or possibly the start of June, but the question of who his next opponent will be remains very much up in the air.

Khan back in May, not interested in Brook: Khan looking to take a different route.
The general consensus is that IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook should be his next challenge, with promoter Eddie Hearn suggesting that he has pencilled in June 13 at Wembley for the huge domestic showdown, as reported by ESPN.
Brook is fresh from the first defence of his title in a one-sided win over Jo Jo Dan in Sheffield on Saturday night, and after brushing his mandatory challenger aside, he will be looking for a huge fight this summer.
The animosity between the pair has been building for years, but Khan remains cautious and insists that he isn’t interested in a fight with Brook as he isn’t a big enough name and hasn’t earned his shot at him.
Given that Brook is carrying a world title and that the fight would sell out Wembley, it is difficult to understand where the argument is, but nonetheless the Bolton-born fighter remains open to looking elsewhere for now as he waits for his opportunity against the winner, or loser, of Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao on May 2.
A huge pay-day coupled with an opportunity to bring a world title to negotiations with either Mayweather or Pacquiao would suggest that it is a no-brainer, but Khan has his route and is leaving Brook on ice for now.
So, the question remains, who should Khan fight this summer?
