One of the most likely candidates to get the first shot at the newly crowned DeGale, Golovkin has knocked out 20 consecutive fighters since 2008 all across the world. And with three appearances and wins at Madison Square Garden in the last 2 years, he knows how to book a venue.
The issue with putting this match together may be the lack of appeal to international audiences in what would likely be a massive prize fight. Golovkin may be the best fighter on this list, but unfortunately he isn’t going to be a major draw unlike the British and American fighters still on the list.
