The 28-year-old powerhouse has previously been tipped with a move to west London on numerous occasions, as well as being linked with the likes of Real Madrid.
In 2012, Hulk looked set for a move to the Premier League or La Liga after terrorising defenders with Porto, where he scored 54 goals in four seasons, but he opted to join Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg instead.
The links with a move to Chelsea have flared up again recently, but he has insisted that he would not join a club where he would not be able to play regularly.
“Of course I know that some clubs command more attention than others, but the important thing is I’m happy.
“There’s no use going to Real Madrid or Chelsea and then lacking opportunities to play.
“Whether it is a big club or not, I know there are clubs that will always have their eyes on me.”
