Angel Di Maria won’t be seen in a Manchester United shirt again.
According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, the Argentine’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain was agreed yesterday – on the same day that the two European giants faced one another in a pre-season friendly in Chicago.
The fee said to have been agreed is €63m (£44.2m) – a £15.5m loss on the British record £59.7m paid for his signature less than 12 months ago.

Man United given transfer BOOST as WORLD-CLASS target hints at “surprise” move
Louis van Gaal, the United manager, has been persistently claiming that he doesn’t know why Di Maria did not link up with his team-mates in the States this week – suggesting to the press that the winger has gone AWOL amid the speculation concerning his future.
The likelihood, however, is that – as with Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie and Victor Valdes – the Dutchman has simply turned his back on those unhappy with their role at Old Trafford.
