The Arizona Cardinals are down to their third-string quarterback, and this sort of situation could not have come at a worse time as the Cardinals are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in a game that will likely decide who wins the NFC West.
The Cardinals are a game ahead of the Seahawks with an 11-3 record, but they have been crippled by injuries while the Seahawks are on fire and looking like defending Super Bowl champions.
Drew Stanton was taken out of the game against the St. Louis Rams with a knee sprain, and he is out for at least a few weeks. The Cardinals have officially announced that Ryan Lindley will be the starter against the Seahawks instead of Logan Thomas.
Lindley took the field after Stanton was injured, but he looked shaky like his previous starts in Arizona. The Cardinals will look to turn their luck around at the perfect time.
