Sauber have announced Brazil’s Felipe Nasr will join Marcus Ericsson at the Swiss team in 2015.
The signings mean that current drivers Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez will leave the team at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been a reserve and test driver for Williams this season whilst also competing in the GP2 series.
Nasr said he was overjoyed to land a full-time F1 seat.
“This is an unforgettable moment that I owe to all of those who have supported me,” said Nasr.
More to come…
