The New York Jets have been without a reliable wide receiver for the past couple of seasons, and they only got one this year when they signed Eric Decker to a hefty contract.
Since their receiving corps still lacked depth, the Jets decided to trade a conditional draft pick to the Seattle Seahawks for wide receiver Percy Harvin.
Harvin had not produced much for the Seahawks this season after missing nearly the entire 2013 season. This may be the spark the Jets offense needs to save their season and head coach Rex Ryan’s job.
Here is a tweet from the official Sports Illustrated Twitter account announcing this major trade.
