Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is facing scrutiny for being indicted for child abuse since it was allegedly discovered that he spanked his four-year-old son with a switch.
The switch that was used was a tree branch with the leaves cut off, and Peterson wanted to discipline his son for pushing another child when they were playing a video game.
A court date has been set for the Vikings running back, and it is set for a Wednesday.
Here is a tweet from NFL Network reporter Jeff Darlington revealing Peterson’s first court date.
Adrian Peterson’s first court date has been scheduled for Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. That’s the Wednesday before Vikings play Lions in Minnesota.
