Colts upset Broncos – Indianapolis Colts upset Denver Broncos, 24-13
The Denver Broncos took an exit from the playoffs earlier than expected after losing, 24-13, to the Indianapolis Colts. Head coach John Fox drew the ire of Broncos fans, who often criticize him for being too conservative.
He was unable to lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl victory despite having quarterback Peyton Manning along with a wide load of talent on both sides of the ball.
As a result, Fox and the Broncos have mutually agreed to part ways. It remains to be seen whether Manning will return for the 2015 season with a new head coach coming and him being due $19 million for each of the remaining two years of his contract.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter broke the news on Twitter.
