Eagles QB Nick Foles wasn’t playing great, but he certainly didn’t deserve to suffer an injury like that.

As bad as things have been for Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles, they may have just gotten worse.
Following a TD strike to WR Jeremy Maclin, Foles got intercepted for a Texans TD, but then things took a turn for the worse during a sack by Texans DE Whitney Mercilus. Foles hit the ground hard and injured his throwing shoulder, sending him to the locker room.
Foles is currently undergoing X-Rays on the shoulder and the Eagles will be putting in QB Mark Sanchez to relieve him. Sanchez rose to the top of the depth chart in the preseason after an incredible series of performances.
Sanchez, the No. 5 overall pick of the 2009 NFL draft, start four seasons in New York before suffering a shoulder injury in 2013 that sidelined him for the season.
