The NFL Players Assocation has concluded its meeting on a new drug policy, and the league has announced a new regime. This benefits Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.
He was originally suspended for the entire season for failed drug tests, but the new policy means his suspension will be reduced to 10 games.
He has already served two games, and former Indianapolis Colts LaVon Brazill will also have his suspension reduced to 10 games.
This has stemmed from the controversy of drug offenders receiving worse sentences than domestic violence offenders.
Here is a tweet from CBS NFL insider Jason La Canfora breaking this announcement.
