The Philadelphia Eagles lost quarterback Nick Foles to a shoulder injury, but they were able to hang on for a 31-21 victory over the Houston Texans. It was revealed to be a broken collarbone for Foles.
The Eagles will have to be without their starting quarterback for a while, but they received fortunate news when it was announced that Foles will not need surgery.
The timetable for his return is expected to be at least six weeks, so Mark Sanchez will be their starting quarterback for the time being.
