Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has indicated that the club will sign a goalkeeper this month.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the Reds are planning to bring in a goalkeeper to replace underperforming first teamer Simon Mignolet during the January transfer window, with the Northern Irishman having made the comments following today’s narrow Premier League victory over Sunderland.

Mignolet regained his place in the Anfield first team recently after Rodgers dropped him for an “indefinite” period, with reserve Brad Jones being injured in the win at Burnley, but he is yet to inspire confidence and Rodgers’ comments will not come as music to the ears of the Belgian:
“I think we need a goalkeeper.”
“We are obviously down [on numbers] and have got two young, inexperienced keepers behind Simon Mignolet, who has only just returned, so we need to assess that.”
