With Nike out of the picture, Adidas will now be producing Man United’s kits for the next decade. Which design looks best?
A leaked image of the new Man United away kit designed by Adidas bears fascinating similarities to the club’s kit from their 1990 FA Cup-winning season.

The image, posted by 101 Great Goals on Twitter this past Wednesday, depicts the Red Devils classy-white away kit with a series of red stripes on the side that are reminiscent of the Man United away kit worn when Sir Alex Ferguson led the club to a 1990 FA Cup win over Crystal Palace.
Back in those days Man United was led by the likes of Steve Bruce, Bryan Robson and Mark Hughes. Though the Red Devils would go on to finish a mere 13th on the old First Division table that season, they still finished ahead of Man City – a noteworthy feat Man United fans will hope the club can repeat during the 2015-16 season.
