The Knights took a strong first-half lead but faded after the break, the Broncos securing the two points with a string of unanswered tries.
It was Brisbane who broke the deadlock first, Anthony Milford showed some nice stepping to score.
But the Knights responded quickly.
Newcastle went into the lead when Korbin Sims barged over.
Things were looking good for the Knghts when they took a 18-6 lead.
But the Broncos got a crucial try just before half-time.
In the second half it was all Brisbane. Jack Reed got his second try.
The Broncos were making a mockery of the Knights’ defence.
Corey Oates’ try gave them a 28-18 lead.
A penalty soon took them to 30. In the final few minutes Anthony Milford put the nail in the coffin with a field goal.
The Broncos continue their tenure at the top of the NRL ladder.
