The Brisbane Broncos have thrashed the North Queensland Cowboys 44-22 at Suncorp Stadium.

The Cowboys were hopeless and the Broncos ran riot.
North Queensland seemed to start strongly, with Jason Taumalolo getting over the line after just a few minutes. But the try was disallowed through obsctruction.
The Broncos didn’t waste their chance, Ben Hunt quickly getting the first try when he barged over.
The Cowboys had another potential try ruled out by the video referee soon after, and Brisbane added its second when Josh McGuire powered over.
On 17 minutes North Queensland hit back when Michael Morgan crossed. But then it started to become one-way traffic.
First Jordan Kahu set up Lachlan Maranta brilliantly.
And then he did it again, this time with a no-look pass to his winger.
At half-time the Broncos had the game won at 32-6. North Queensland gave themselves a small chance when a few minutes in they scored after a bomb.
But it mattered little. Brisbane notched two more tries to completely kill the game off.
The Cowboys got the final try of the match, through Justin O’Neill, but the Broncos finished deserved winners.
North Queensland has now slumped to three straight losses.
