Reports that the Brisbane Broncos will be caught up in the recent drug scandal have been rubbished as ‘rumours’ by club veteran Corey Parker.

Some bookmakers suspended betting on the Broncos opening NRL clash with South Sydney next week after the Queensland Crime and Corruption Committee (QCCC) announced more arrests could be made in relation to the alleged cocaine trafficking syndicate in south-east Queensland.
Queensland Reds star Karmichael Hunt and five current Gold Coast Titans players have been issued with notices to appear in court following QCCC investigations.
A report by the Sydney Morning Herald on Wednesday said the Broncos were likely to be the next club caught up in the drugs scandal.
However Parker dismissed the report as “rumour” and “innuendo”.
“What names are they?,” Parker is quoted as saying by AAP.
“You are talking about names that are floating around but you can’t give me one of them.
“It’s rumour and innuendo until those names are specified or they are tapped on the shoulder.
“There is nothing else for me to say.”
