The Brisbane Lions host Collingwood at the Gabba on Saturday in a clash that will be sure to have many talking points.
Collingwood premiership winner Dayne Beams comes up against his old teammates for the first time since moving north to join his brother at the Lions, and it will be interesting to see how the Magpies players react.
It’s been a week from hell for the Magpies after it was revealed that Lachie Keffee and Josh Thomas had been handed a provisional suspension after testing positive to a banned substance.
Nathan Buckley’s men are going through a rebuilding phase and you get the sense that the might find out tough against an emerging Lions outfit.
Brisbane will go into this clash as the favourites but don’t discount the Scott Pendlebury-lead Magpies.
