Brisbane Lions host Richmond in what is shaping up to be an exciting encounter at the Gabba.
Despite making major signings in the off-season, the Lions have been disappointing in the opening stages of 2015 following losses to Collingwood and North Melbourne.
Justin Leppitsch’s side were totally outplayed against the Kangaroos, losing by a massive 82 points.
Richmond got its season off to a good start over the struggling Carlton, but come into the match on the back of a disappointing loss to the Western Bulldogs.
Star Richmond midfielder Brett Deledio will miss the game through injury, while the Lions lost key forward Michael Close with to a season-ending knee injury last week.
Richmond have a good record against the Lions and will start this one as the slight favourites, but it would come as no surprise Brisbane spark into life in front of their home crowd.
