James Aish: Brisbane Lions losing hope of retaining star midfielder
Richmond star defender Alex Rance considering playing future: report
Both Brisbane and West Coast head into this one coming off the back of big losses and neither will want to be on the receiving end of another defeat.
The Lions and Eagles have been hit hard with injuries early in 2015, with the former losing its third straight game of the season last week against Richmond.
West Coast were completely blown away in the opening term of the Western Derby against Fremantle, with the 30-point deficit not reflective of the difference between both sides.
The Eagles’ defence has been decimated by injury, and despite being named, makeshift backman Jeremy McGovern may not play.
Brisbane welcome back star midfielder Tom Rockliff back into the side which will come as a major boost for Justin Leppitsch’s side.
It’s a game neither side can afford to lose, so make sure you tune in!
