Meanwhile, he will also be delighted with the fact that the victory means that the Springboks have now qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament, with Heyneke Meyer’s side coming under significant criticism after their defeat to Japan in their opening game.
Having now turned the momentum in their favour, it remains to be seen how they progress in the remainder of the tournament, while Habana will now go on and attempt to surpass Lomu in the next game.
