The Buffalo Bills are coming off a signature win against the Green Bay Packers, and their offense has received a boost with the return of running back C.J. Spiller.
Spiller has been out since injuring his collarbone in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. He was expected to be out for the season, but the Bills will activate him from injured reserve before their Week 16 game against the Oakland Raiders. He will likely receive carries but cede the majority to Fred Jackson.
The Bills have enjoyed a relatively successful season as they hold an 8-6 record, and they will push for a playoff spot against the Raiders before they have to face the New England Patriots.
Here is a tweet from the official NFL on ESPN Twitter account announcing Spiller’s return.
