Dane is at present warming the bench in Turin.
Bundesliga outfit SV Hamburg are considering making an end of season swoop for unsettled Arsenal front man Nicklas Bendtner, reports talkSPORT.co.uk.
The lanky Denmark international is currently enduring a nightmare season-long loan spell with Serie A title holders Juventus, with the striker having appeared in just ten games for the ‘Old Lady of Italian football’, but is still to find the back of the net for the Turin giants.
All of which means that Bendtner is set to return to north London at the end of this campaign, where his future at the Emirates remains unclear at present, although Hamburg’s reported interest in the 25-year-old may yet offer the striker an escape route for next season.
The German club’s sporting director Frank Arnesen actually tried to sign Bendtner last summer, before the player opted to move to Juve instead, but the Dane will now be hopeful of persuading his compatriot to this time make the move to Germany.
