Oklahoma State held on for a 30-22 win over Washington in the Cactus Bowl, and they finished with a 7-6 record after snapping a five-game losing streak in their regular-season finale.
The Cowboys took a 24-0 lead at halftime before the Huskies trimmed it to 27-14 at the end of the third quarter. After the Huskies scored a touchdown and scored on a two-point conversion, Cowboys kicker Ben Grogan missed a 27-yard field goal.
However, Huskies quarterback Cyler Miles threw an interception on the final Washington drive to ruin any chance of sending the game to overtime.
Cowboys quarterback Mason Rudolph led the way with 299 yards and two touchdown passes with an interception on 17-of-26 passing.
Running back Desmond Roland rushed for 123 yards on 32 carries, and wide receiver Brandon Shepherd caught five passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.
For the Huskies, Miles threw for 268 yards with a touchdown and an interception on 25-of-38 passing. Wide receiver Jaydon Mickens caught seven passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.
