Washington will face Oklahoma State in the Cactus Bowl, and the Huskies hold an 8-5 record while the Cowboys are 6-6.
The Huskies have won two games in a row, and they most recently defeated Washington State, 31-13. Their defense has held their last two opponents to 13 points.
Quarterback Cyler Miles has found his groove and threw for 249 yards with two touchdowns and an interception on 25-of-39 passing.
The sophomore quarterback has taken care of the ball by throwing for 16 touchdowns with just three interceptions while completing 66.7 percent of his passes.
Running back Dwayne Washington has also been on fire with at least 100 rushing yards in his last three games. He ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys snapped their five-game losing streak with a 38-35 overtime win against Oklahoma. The Cowboys had started 5-1, but they were able to limp into bowl contention with their latest win.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill stunned the Sooners by tying the game at 35 with 45 seconds left by returning a punt 92 yards for a touchdown. Kicker Ben Grogan then kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime.
The Cowboys defense has struggled a lot this season as they rank 100th in the country with 32 points allowed per game, but the Huskies have been solid with 24.4 points allowed per game.
The Huskies will overpower the Cowboys as they have scored more points while allowing less.
