Manly have slumped to their fourth loss of the NRL season while it was a good performance from Canberra.
Debutant Tom Trbojevic got his first NRL try in his first start for Manly.
But the Sea Eagles couldn’t build on their good start and Canberra hit back quickly.
First Sisa Waqa showed a nice step to cross.
Then Jordan Rapana capitalised when Manly failed to deal with a bomb.
Sam Williams knocked over a field goal just before half-time to extend the Raiders’ dominance.
Manly added a few tries late in the second half but Canberra were comfortably in front.
It was an impressive defensive display from the Green Machine but worrying signs for the Sea Eagles. Their woes this season continue.
