Jack Wighton scored two tries against the Sharks and Josh Hodgson looked the goods at hooker. For the Warriors though, it’s a familiar story.
They were inconsistent – as usual – in their round one match with Newcastle and los their opener. The Warriors were competitive at times but couldn’t put the Knights to bed.
Expectations are high for the Kiwi side this year and an improved performance will be needed in Canberra. Sam Tomkins missed round one and the English fullback would be a welcome addition back into the Warriors’ 17.
