Canterbury winger Corey Thompson has capped off a stellar debut season by re-signing with the Bulldogs until the end of the 2015 season.
The 23-year-old made his debut in the season-opener against the Brisbane Broncos, and faced the man whose exit from Belmore paved the way for his spot, Ben Barba.
Thompson said he was delighted to secure his immediate future with the Bulldogs.
“I came to the club looking for an opportunity and whilst I knew I would have to work hard to earn it, it was great when I got told I would make my NRL debut at the start of the year,” Thompson said.
“I love it here, it’s a great bunch of guys and after playing a part this season, I feel part of the group and can’t wait for it to continue next year.”
