Tom Ince is on the verge of joining Cardiff City after the Bluebirds agreed a fee with Blackpool for the youngster.
Cardiff City have agreed a fee with Blackpool for England under-21 star Tom Ince, according to Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old has long been linked with a return to Liverpool, where he started his career before moving to the north west in 2011, but the Reds reportedly baulked at the Seasiders’ asking price in January.
Tottenham are also thought to be keen on the winger but Ince now looks set to join newly-promoted Cardiff.
Last week, Blackpool boss and Tom’s father Paul stressed that it would take a ‘ridiculous’ offer to lure his son from Bloomfield Road but Ince’s performances last season meant he was unlikely to remain in the Championship for a further year.
The speedy wide-man scored 18 goals in 42 appearances for the Tangerines and was part of the England under-21 squad that disappointed in this summer’s European Championships in Israel.
