Bluebirds are already preparing for their first-ever campaign in the Premier League.
Newly-promoted Cardiff City are keen to sign misfiring Sunderland front man Danny Graham this summer, according to reports in the Daily Star.
The English forward has only been at the Stadium of Light since January, when he was brought to the north east by previous Black Cats boss Martin O’Neill from Swansea City for £3.5 million on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
However, it is fair to say that the 27-year-old has found it hard to settle in the intervening period, failing to find the back of the net in any of his 11 Premier League outings for the struggling top-flight club.
And now new Sunderland head coach Paolo Di Canio has decided that the former Middlesbrough, Carlisle and Watford forward is surplus to requirements at the club for next season, with the Bluebirds hoping to lure him to South Wales when the transfer window reopens for business on 1 June.
