After crossing paths in London on Monday and then Manchester on Tuesday, it was Belfast’s turn on Wednesday as a raucous crowd attended the final press conference of the promotional tour for the February 27 fight.
Many more fans were in attendance compared to Tuesday, but Quigg looked unfazed and calm throughout as he continued to reiterate that he believes that he will knock his rival out when they meet in the ring next year.
Meanwhile, Frampton was equally as confident about his chances and insisted that he will have his hand raised come fight night, although he was evidently rattled and lost his cool as promoter Barry McGuigan had to pull him away from the face off.
It followed on from the two promoters, McGuigan and Eddie Hearn, enjoying an exchange of words, while trainers Shane McGuigan and Joe Gallagher were relatively quiet this time round.
Nevertheless, on the face of it, it appears as though Hearn’s wind-up tactics are working as Frampton continues to depart from his usual cool and collected demeanour, but that will matter little on the night when he steps into the ring with Quigg.
Having now wrapped up the promotional tour, the two fighters will next cross paths in 2016 in the build-up to the fight with the final press conference and weigh-in ahead of the big event at the Manchester Arena on February 27.
