Groves expected to make announcement of fights later today.
Carl Froch could be set to accomplish two of his lifelong ambitions as he prepares to fight Bernard Hopkins in June, followed by a possible encounter with Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr in Las Vegas later this year.

Frock could face 50 year old Hopkins at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground, an arena he has always wanted to compete in and the Cobra has always cherished the possibility of a Las Vegas bout.
Both Hopkins and Chavez are both said to be eager to meet him according to Daily Mail.
Froch is ready to vacate his IBF belt, which opens the door for James DeGale to fight for the title.
However, following his two fights against George Groves, Froch believes he has little left to prove against domestic competition and wants to fight at two of the biggest stages imaginable before he finally calls it a day.
“I’m not going to be rail-roaded into doing the same against DeGale, who would need at least another fight or two against quality opposition before being ready for me,” said Forch on the possibility of a fight.
Promoter Eddie Hearn is expected to announce the alternative competitions for DeGale later today and is targeting a match at the O2 Arena in London on April 25th.
