Argentinian is used to disputes whichever club he is at.
New Juventus signing Carlos Tevez has already caused controversy in Turin after taking the ‘Old Lady of Italian Football’s’ fabled No 10 jersey next season, says the Daily Mirror.
The Argentina international finally completed his £7.6 million transfer from Manchester City to Juve earlier this week, however, the 29-year-old has immediately walked straight into a row at his new club by requesting the Italian giants’ legendary No 10 shirt which has been worn down the years by the likes of former legendary stars such as Michel Platini, Roberto Baggio and Alessandro Del Piero.
In the previous campaign, no player at the Serie A champions worse the jersey after Del Piero had requested it be left vacant rather than the club retire it altogether, and now the Juventus fans are said to be furious that their new signing will be donning the shirt next season.
However, maybe those very same supporters will be more forgiving if Tevez repeats some of the form in front of goal that saw the attacker net 73 goals in just 138 appearances for City between 2009 and 2013 in Serie A next season.
