Cromartie spent four seasons with the Jets after playing his first four with the San Diego Chargers, and he has made three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances after making his first in the 2007 season.
The Jets recently signed free-agent prize Darrelle Revis, who has played the majority of his career with them. The Jets also signed former Cleveland Browns cornerback Buster Skrine, giving their secondary much more depth.
After ranking 30th in opposing passer rating, the Jets pass defense suddenly became dangerous again, and they possessed one of the elite run defenses.
Once again, the Jets’ next season will ride on how successful their offense can be.
