Maxwell was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 6th round of the 2011 NFL draft – one round after Richard Sherman – and emerged as a solid starting CB in 2013 and 2014. He recorded six INTs over the last two years and played in 29 out of 32 games.
In the 2014-15 NFC Championship Game, Maxwell recorded a critical INT against the Green Bay Packers that helped keep them in the game and eventually led to their 28-22 overtime win that sent them to Super Bowl XLIX.
