The Wildcats looked primed to put on another offensive clinic as they took a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter, but the Bruins shut them down for the rest of the game. They blocked an Arizona field goal attempt late in the game to seal their win.
Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley was efficient as he threw for 189 yards and a touchdown on 19-of-26 passing, and he added a team-leading 131 rushing yards on 24 carries.
Running back Paul Perkins ran for 78 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Wide receiver Jordan Payton caught six passes for 119 yards and a touchdown.
For the Wildcats, quarterback Anu Solomon performed abysmally as he was held to 175 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 18-of-48 passing.
